Introduzione
Dal cuore di Gaza un suono di speranza. Musicisti e artisti provenienti da Gaza si riuniranno per raccontare le loro storie in canzoni e musica, facendo appello per una vita migliore per i palestinesi che soffrono da anni e che sono stati ridotti a stereotipi nei media.
Gaza Concert è un evento che porta ispirazione a tanti artisti di Gaza che sono desiderosi di raccontare le loro storie con il canto e la musica. L'evento mira di portare musicisti e cantanti provenienti da diverse parti della Palestina a cantare per l'unità, la pace e la giustizia. Nonostante tutte le sofferenze, l’evento si propone di rilanciare lo spirito palestinese con musica da Gaza a tutto il mondo.
Recentemente, tutti i settori della vita nella Striscia di Gaza sono stati negativamente influenzati dall'ingiusto assedio imposto alla popolazione civile. La vita sta peggiorando di giorno in giorno nella Striscia di Gaza per bambini, donne e uomini anziani. Essi hanno un unico sogno: avere una vita dignitosa dopo che termina l'assedio a Gaza.
I palestinesi sono in cerca di una soluzione equa e per una via d'uscita dalla disperazione che hanno vissuto per anni. L’assedio non è l’unico problema; la violenza continua che ammazza la speranza è un ostacolo ancora più grande.
A dispetto di tutto ciò, cantanti e musicisti palestinesi di talento si uniscono a Gaza per fare uno speciale concerto musicale per cantare per Gaza e per la pace. I partecipanti desiderano riportare la speranza ai bambini e disegnare sorrisi sui loro volti, dopo i tempi duri che hanno passato dopo aver perso i loro familiari, amici e persino le loro case.

Target audience: Internationals, local & foreign NGOs, friends of Palestine, students, women, children and interested people. People worldwide can watch it via TV, Aljazeera as well as many interested TV channels will be invited to cover the event.
Objectives

Gathering and uniting a group of singers for the first time in Gaza.

Challenging the situation & the siege peacefully by singing and expressing freely in a different way.

Changing the stereotypical attitude toward Palestinian people by sending a call for peace by music and singing

Shedding the light on the situation on the Gaza Strip in a new way by music and singing that would attract thousands of people worldwide to follow.

The concert calls all decision makers to urge them in building bridges instead of walls and work on establishing fertile land for allocating justice and peace.

A lot of Palestinian musicians and singers are not able to show their music and talents due to travel restrictions. But through this concert, they will be able to sing and perform sending a message to the world.

Children of Gaza must live a decent life away from violence and warfare and they have the right to have fun and listen to music. This concert will allow children have some good time when attending the concert and give them a break from the sound of warplanes and bombardment.

Music can unite all. It's a chance for disputed Palestinians to forget differences and unite at least in such an event. Because addressing the Palestinian cause and siege is higher than internal dispute.

The event will call for stopping violence, ending the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and excluding civilians from political and military conflicts.

A Palestinian girl will welcome the guests and introduce the performers to attendance/audience. They will speak about the siege in English & Arabic in a simple and direct way that shows innocence of the Palestinian people.

This song was made by two talented Palestinian singers who sing in Arabic and English. The song expresses the feeling of youth and love in their hearts toward Palestine.

Live played music
Musicians will use their talent to play music. This part of the event is a step before going the bulk of the concert which will include Palestinian traditional dance "Dabkka" and other folk music and songs.

Song Take the siege away
This song has been recently popular and spread globally. Most of the song is in English and it was written, composed and sung by two Palestinian singers (Hatem & Naseem). It talks about the siege in Gaza expressing two real humanitarian stories from Gaza.
